ASVB Attends SPTE 2025 in Nadi, Fiji
Strengthening Tourism Partnerships in the Pacific

The American Samoa Visitors Bureau (ASVB) proudly attended the 2025 South Pacific Tourism Exchange (SPTE), held from May 9–10 in Nadi, Fiji. Hosted annually by the Pacific Tourism Organization (SPTO)—of which American Samoa is a founding member—SPTE serves as a vital platform for connecting with tourism professionals and global travel trade partners promoting the Pacific region.

Throughout the event, ASVB engaged in key meetings with destination marketers and travel publications, reinforcing American Samoa’s visibility in the international tourism landscape. These face-to-face interactions are essential for building strategic partnerships and positioning the territory as a unique and emerging destination in the South Pacific.

In addition to the Exchange, ASVB Director Taimalelagi Minnie Tuia participated in a series of high-level engagements during the week, including the SPTO Board Meeting, the Sustainability Workshop for Board Members, and the Aviation Workshop.

It was a full and productive week, reaffirming ASVB’s commitment to strengthening regional collaboration and sustainable tourism development across the Pacific.
